99, 99-18 = 81. 98, 98-17 = 81...

There are only a few possible answers, and if you note the symbols change and are always the same for these numbers:

81, 72, 63, 54, 45, 36, 27, 18, 9



Everything that happens has an explaination, otherwise it did not happen

yea i started to notice the pattern after a while. it was really freaky tho in the begining.

 

and then there was one

 

actually is not even that. the patterns next to the numbers change every time you try again. And no matter which number you pick, they always point to the same pattern at any given try. Basically it knows what the pattern would be before you even pick a number.

The pattern is actually the same every time. The symbols change but the pattern remains. It has to, because the numbers are still in the same order.
