yup, as the legend goes Honda developed a prototype and when Senna drove it he remarked the chassis was not stiff enough and told Honda a roadcar with F1 characteristics was not possible to build. Honda was stubborn and worked on the car until Senna was satisfied with it.
And that, as told by some honda engineer in some edition of Best Motoring, is why the NSX chassis has been so long lived (16 years!).

just too bad i didn't watch and was too young to watch F1 in those days. it's just too bad i can't give any inputs about senna because all i've heard about him is from reading what he did and not watching a grand prix and judging. speaking of which any place to download old f1 races?
this might help shed some light on him for you:

I recommend watching "Racing Is In My Blood" if you can find it.
I also have many races from 1990 up through today on DVD if you really want to see some of his races.
In his early days, Senna claimed he was protected by God and, therefore, invulnerable. In his first season he appeared to be extremely talented but almost reckless. As time went on he matured into one of the best of all time. Between him and Schu, its a tough call. They didn't overlap for long enough, and they also had very different characteristics in their driving.
The thing that I will always remember Senna by was that, he would always carry a Brazilian flag in his cockpit to wave if he won. On the day he was killed, they found the Austrian flag that he had planned to wave to honour the passing of Roland Ratzenberger the previous day.
