well if its lic then id say cheap labor! and great service. remember the more overhead the more they make you pay
one shop can pay more then another for its lease/rent and both can have great employees but the prices will have to be different cause one will have more overhead (ie rent lease) then the other
and why is this being asked?

uhh okay, I dont know anyone that would say they would rather pay less for bad service. Did you mean for this to be a thread or were you trying to respond to something?

Depending on labor rate, $450 for a 60k isn't too high.
Hey the last dentist charged me $1300 for a root canal that took him less then 45 minutes, laywers charge $300+ an hour to write letters, CPAs charge a boat load aswell.
Its takes alot $$$ to have/open/run a good shop.
Its takes on average 5-10 years and 50-80k+ in tools before most guys become journey level auto techs and it costs alot more for the shops that pay them in tools/overhead/worker comp.
Not to down guys that do stuff in their garage or backyard, but if you want to take your car to a shop and want GREAT work in a timely fashion please don't be a cheapskate.
Great work at a fair price is being reasonable.
