Cheap good eats in Bay Area where? - Please help/contribute
Note: if the mods or anyone else feel this is too much of a repeat to the official eats thread, I can scrap this idea, I did search and saw the other thread...but kind of messy and what not
Hey all, I am a college student on a budget, as I am sure many of us here are on budget in some way or another. Also, as the lazy college student I am, I eat out nearly every or at least every other meal, making food a rather expensive expense, I try my best to eat cheap and usually can do pretty good, ~$5 a meal...still pretty high. But, after eating at the same places over and over I get pretty tired of them, and it is always a wrestle to decide what we(gf and/or roommate and I) want to eat, so I want to compile a list of really cheap eats in the area. To find out more good and cheap places to eat for everyone. If there are no limit on the number of spaces in one post I will add each restaurant and info and type of food in this first thread...if there is, eh...i don't know...reading each reply is just really a hassle, because they're not organized. i will organize them by city so people in different cities can easily see places in their own city...or I can do multiple post for different cities(one post per city), and add posts as another cities pop out...and if the mods feel this is too much of a repeat to the official eats thread, I can scrap this idea...Here are my contributions. Chains will be on top, as they can be found in multiple cities, I will note cities that they are present in. Please add in format I've done below, so I can copy and past it into my first post, and please make one recommendation or something they have or something.

Ratings are usually pretty good, except if you're looking for very authentic type foods. Such as I've never found a "good chinese" (atleast according to my gf) on there, but other stuff has been terrific. Much more organized than it will ever be able to be on forums.

jatbar.com has some pretty good reviews. Albeit not well written, but at least they're written by average people like me instead of paid food critics from random newspapers.
