i started doing this last yr when i was hungry & cheap.

buy a double cheeseburger, then tell them to add lettuce & big mac sauce (thousand island) for an extra .10 or so.

blam, $1.10 big mac w/o the middle bun. woot.

i'm lovin' it!

you should buy a gallon jug of thousand island from costco and bring it into the McDonalds with you and save 5 cents?

Did you ever lift up the bun and look at the burger patties you get at In N Out? I always thought they were a bargain since I always get full off them, but they are about as big as McDonalds patties. Oh well I still worship at the altar of the doubledouble.

bigmacs and regular hamburgers uses the same 10:1 patti...
