As of this morning, Brandon Seagle is no longer at AutoHQ Motorsports. I Bryan aka Ballz will be taking on his position of General Manager.
We will be in business as usual. As for anyone currently dealing with him, I will take over where he left off. For the time being please forward all your email responses to autohq@gmail.com
Thank you,
Bryan

Hi, this is Brandon.
I quit yesterday for mostly personal reasons that are of no relevance to potential customers.
If Kevin were not a great mechanic I would never have worked at AutoHQ, much less have helped the shop to become so well known recently. Bottom line: if you bring your car to AutoHQ for work, you most likely cannot go wrong.
In the last 2-3 months I have done very much to improve AutoHQ, such as making our presence in the community, growing our customer base, building the website, making more money, blah blah blah... I also hired Sam because he loves Subaru and got him busy working on our ongoing 2000 2.5 RS to 2004 STI swap. Sam is a good guy and I hope a bright and ambitious future for him.
A few weeks ago, I brought in Bryan as Sales Manager to learn the ropes as he took on most of my responsibilities, while I transitioned back into my life as a medical student. At the time I hired Bryan, whether or not I would quit was still a question to me. Seeing that Bryan is very capable, I have complete faith in him taking on my previous position serving the needs of Bay Area enthusiasts, and I am happy to leave the position to him. I know that Bryan will take care of customers very well and also be very proactive helping AutoHQ continue to develop and succeed.
I am happy to have set up AutoHQ with a fresh start and I wish the team at AutoHQ best of luck and many successes.
As for me, I am relieved to no longer be the General Manager at AutoHQ. I have neglected most of my duties as a full-time MD/PhD student for the whole summer and I have plenty of catching up to do. Plus the Chicago Marathon is in October and I haven't had time to train until now. Since I spent most of yesterday and last night celebrating quiting my job at AutoHQ, it's time for me to get to work. So like the years before I was at AutoHQ, you will see little of Brandon from now forward on i-club, at meets, etc. You are most likely to find me creeping up behind you on 84, 35, 9, 92, 1 and other fun roads in the vicinity. I got the name "hunter" up there for a reason.
Later alligator,
Brandon

Yeah, I like higher speed roads, mostly because I like to cruise around most of the time and only push it in a few spots where the road surface is good.
I don't really race people. I just like to catch up to people when I see a cool car and then meet people. I don't ride people's asses because it sucks for everyone when someone does that. And when people are clearly trying to provoke a race, I don't engage it, because many of those people are too risky. For instance, an S2000 that blew by me in the wet fog (really, really low visibility) on a really bumpy and curvy part of skyline, or an EVO that pulled away from me using both lanes on 84 during the DAY time and on a weekend (when there is hella traffic).
I got clearly embarrassed once by an RSX on skyline though. That guy could out corner me on every corner.
There are many clearly better drivers than me out there on the hills. I just don't happen across one very often, but I'm sure they are out there somewhere.
Those are almost all the tales that I have to tell.
There are more, one involving an EVO, the rest involving a deer or a tree. Oh, and then there is the story of when I crashed on skyline.
Later folks
