Cause for Concern?
My girlfriend and I both work in SF - she's in SOMA, I'm in the financial district. She messages me saying that her work has asked everyone in her building to stay clear of the Market Street-side of the building. I wonder what the hell is going on, and search to find this (from SFist.com):
Anyone have any further info. as to what the hell is going on down there?

Bomb Squad Truck at Transbay Terminal
The big bomb squad truck is there at the Transbay Terminal right now. AlertSF says you'll want to avoid the area for at least the next 90 minutes.
We'll update with more info as it comes to us.
Update: CBS 5 reports that "San Francisco police have sealed off the TransBay Terminal and surrounding streets due to what they've termed a 'critical incident.' Reports from the scene indicate a suspicious item was found on a SamTrans bus."
Our source at the scene says that "someone is crawling all over a cement truck." Hmm.

UPDATE: My girlfriend's building has been evacuated - everyone was asked to leave (not sure by whom) and basically just to get away from the area. WTF...

UPDATE: "AlertSF says "If you are in that area [Mission at Fremont] you should stay inside and avoid windows and glassed areas." Our source, however, says the cops are being "relaxed" and "casual" about the whole thing now."

just read that somewhere else. i'm about 4 blocks away. my gf's building is about 2 blocks from there. i'm more concerned if there's something somewhere else that they didn't find.
