But to answer your question about the headsets, no it wouldn't be like yelling into each others ears. The headsets they're wearing have active noise cancelling for any noise over 82dB to provide hearing protection. And at the same time, they amplify ambient sounds so you can have a normal conversation without yelling. Notice the small mics on the sides?
Now you know.

There's a good reason for it. The Japanese word for rabbit is うさぎ (usagi). If you play with the stylization of the word, it becomes USA GI. Hence, all Americans on the show are rabbits.
The other nationalities are based either on stereotypes or military references.

yeah this whole series is a continuation of an earlier series set during the Vietnam war called Apocalypse Meow (seriously)
And the differnt animals represent different countries
American – Rabbit (USAgi)
Vietnamese – Cat
French – Pig
Chinese – Panda
Japanese – Monkey and Gorilla
Russian – Bear
Korean – Dog
British – Rat
Australian – Kangaroo
and now you can add camel as unspecified middle eastern, lol.
More episodes on the way, I'll bump this thread when they come out
