hi guys... i noticed a lot of people drive back and forth. some go to school in socal and some just visit frequently. i'm one of those who drive almost every weekend or so to orange county since dan moved and i'm getting ready to move. i tried this out this weekend with boardaholic (cliff) and it worked out great! we met at a central location and had two way radios. the drive seemed to go by faster and it seems much safer to travel in numbers. we could just post whenever we're driving south and see if anyone else is going then meet up and go together. what do you guys think?

It's not gonna be for a couple months but I plan on going to riverside as soon as I get healed enough to drive after my knee surgery...like november or something.

I'm going to school in San Diego, going down on the 18th of Sept. I'll be coming up and down pretty often, I'll post it up as well.

hey victoria! sorry, we didn't have as much radio chatter, but my nephew kept us pretty entertained on the drive down. i definitely agree that it helps to caravan w/ other folks, esp. w/ 2-way radios! thanx for all the li'l tips & all once we got into so-cal since i don't do that drive very often. c-ya @BDG sometime soon!

sup OMA! so your knee'll be all good for some winter shreddin'. i can't wait, esp. since one of the roomies got the transworld snow '05 buyers' guide!

 

that's the hope anyways.....if surgery goes as planned I'll be all good and hopefully 20 pounds lighter than I was last season. yeah for both. Should be ready to roll by Jan 1st says the dr.

but on the bad side, they have to replace my acl....then I'm screwed til like...march..which means I'll be going to canada or new zealand during next summer..haaaa.

but I'm praying for being all good by the 1st.

I have last years santa cruz venom 163 and possibly will be getting into a big board..like a 169 for deep snow.....haaaa.

Some sweet looking gear coming out this year...I want a new jacket.

so yeah..this season...you gotta come up with me man. I'll have some nice nobbies on the wagon and I have a tv and ps2 now so we can watch some dave chapelle...well you can watch..haaa.

 

d'oh!! on the surgery. i think dan had that happen to both knees thanks to pro snowboarding. once in utah and once in tahoe. maybe he'll be healed up by then and we can all caravan to tahoe! (of course you'll all have to teach me how)
