Car won't Start

Hi everybody.

I need some urgent help. I'm stuck at home and can't go to work because my car won't start. The first time I noticed it was a couple days ago. It would turnover a few times before starting. It wasn't too bad to I just took note of it and carried on. Yesterday morning, it wouldn't start. I tried a couple times and it would just turn over. Then I tried one more time but fed it some gas and it started right up. Throughout the day, it would turn over a couple times then start up with no problems. The longer the time between start ups, the longer it took to start up.

Now this morning, it doesn't start at all. Tried to give it some gas, and nothing. Waited 20 minutes and tried again and nothing. Tried the key to the on position first to start the fuel pump and then the ignition but nothing.

Two questions I have:
1) Has anybody had a similar issue and knows what's wrong?
2) Is there any shop I can have my car towed to near the North San Jose are that can help me?

I've contact Auto Innovations but they don't do repairs.

Please help.

Thanks

One thing I just noticed is that my security light is flashing in the dash when the alarm isn't even on. Is there a kill switch issue going on?

I don't think the 02's came with a kill switch. I believe that's standard for the 05 sti and 06 wrx and sti. Is it making any noise at all when you try to start it? What were the symptoms before; ie, were you running low boost/ did you hear a loud "air intake sound" like the car was gasping for breath?

Did you try jump starting it? Most common reason a car doesn't start is a dead battery.

MBC is at stock levels.

All accessories come on. So it doesn't look like a dead battery issue. No jumpers here so that sucks.

Fuel is in there.

Not sure if the intake was gasping for air. Can't discern that noise from the others I'm hearing.

No no... Clutch starting as in pop starting. Push the car as fast as possible with it in 2nd gear, the clutch in, and the key in run. Drop the clutch (and I mean drop) until the car begins to start, then push the clutch back in.

I'm the only one around. No one to help push the car.

Nope, still waiting to see if Gruppe-s or mpj can fix it. No one is answering their phones right now. Left messages.

I think the plan is to call AAA and see if they can jump it. If not then have them tow me to one of the two aforementioned shops. Unless someone knows what's wrong and i can fix it myself.

Open the driver door. Turn the key to run, leave it in neutral. Push the car from the driver's door frame (so you can hold the steering wheel). When you can't push any faster jump in, clutch in, 2nd gear, drop it. I did it in my old Ranger, works like a charm.
