car toolbox
what would be some must haves for a car tool box for emergency breakdown or repair. what are the most common size sockets needed?
I just bought a small toolbox to throw in the back of the car. In it I have a Phillips #2, flat head screwdriver, red shop towels, flashlight, extra batteries for flashlight, 1/4" ratchet, 3/8" ratchet, 3/8" breaker bar, 3/8" 19mm socket, road flares. I also have jumper cables and a tow strap for the car in the trunk.
what else should i throw in there?

I have the Stainless Steel version of this. Definitely a nice tool to have in conjunction with some type of pump to put air back in your tires. It won't fix complete blow-outs, but if you pick up a nail, screw, or something else that would cause your tire to go flat this can definitely be useful for getting you back on the road again. (BTW this is the most high end version, they have cheaper ones down to about $25.00 or so for the tool. Replacement plugs are about $10 for a 5 pack so about $2.00/plug). It was slightly cheaper to get this tool from Amazon.
Also having a Torque Wrench can definitely be useful.

I have a crecent wrench in my glove box for the car and other stuff. It's come in handy before.
Stub and needle nose pliers (if the Leatherman/similar doesn't already cover that), good.
$20 cash (bills and coins) isn't a bad idea to have either, if you're good about making sure it gets replenished as needed.
