Car sitting for 2 weeks what should I do.

My car will be sitting in my garage for 2 weeks while I am on vacation. what should I do in terms of keeping it in good condition. Should I disconnect the battery? I have an optima red. However, even though it's sitting in an enclosed garage I still would like to have my alarm activated so meaning leaving the battery connected?

Anytime I should do?

i doubt leaving a car sitting for 2 weeks should a problem. if ur leaving it in ur garage, maybe just lock the garage door and any entrances into the garage would be enough secuirty. ur choice

crack the windows a tiny bit so that mold doesn't form in the inside and it can breathe

two weeks is too short for anything to happen imo. esp with the weather, it isnt cold or hot enough to have any real effect. just put it into the garage, lock it and close the doors, the biggest risk would be someone taking it, not the battery dying, mold, or tires flatspotting.

yup. I've left my car in the garage for before for a month or so. Car fired up right away. I also had some flat spots on the tires but after driving it a bit, they went away. I did crack the window a bit so it could air out. One week i left it with all the windows closed. Brought back that new car smell lol

I used to leave my turbo Z parked for ~6mos at a time when I lived in the UK and would come back for holiday. I did a few things to it but nothing crazy - battery tender, fresh oil when I got back, and leave it sitting on the old rims/tires that didn't matter so my nice ones would not get flat spotted.. My sister drove it once a month for me and only hit one wall.

2 weeks..........HA, you don't have to do anything. My car has been sitting longer than that on multiple occasions.
