Car Lifts

Anyone have any experience with either Bendpak or QuickJack as far as scissor lifts go? Im looking to get a portable car lift for my garage. Im looking at the BendPak Low Rise Vehicle Lift, the BendPak Portable Mid-Rise Scissor Lift, and the QuickJack BL-3500slx. any advice?

I knew someone that had the quickjack. I remembered that it worked really well for him, but he used it for a BRZ.

My only real problem with the floor style lifts, is they give you very little room to work on items UNDER the car. You can't pull a clutch/transmission with any ease. You can't work on exhaust. Some models it is a ***** to even do a oil change. (depending on car too).

Based on those pictures, it seems like the only thing they're good for is changing tires.

well the quickjack one is two pieces. I like that so I can access the motor and transmission better but i cant really see how open it really is.

You would be better served with a high quality 3ton speed floor jack, and some tall pro quality stands.
