What the hell was going on? I saw the Ford block the road and the driver got out of the car to confront you, and you took off and passed me at about 75 in a 35 mph zone (Los Gatos Almaden Road). I was in the silver 04 WRX wagon. I thought the Ford was going to explode trying to catch up to you.

What happened?????

Something must have happened. The Ford literally baracaded the road and the driver ran towards the WRX. That's when the suby took off and screamed past me. The WRX was black, modified, tint, exhaust, no spoiler etc. It could have been an STI, not sure. Dude was flying!!

 

Well, you know it wasn't Brucelee. He would have simply pulled out a Glock, and blasted that f'n redneck into oblivion...then used a grenade launcher to rid the world of another f'n piece of crap Ford!!

Yup. I hate that crap. If you're gonna flick someone off, back it up with something; otherwise keep it to yourself. Seriously. I hope the Ford guy catches him, and johnsti gets it on tape, lol.

 

Ford truck vs. STi? Not gonna happen...not unless the STi driver quits using anything above 3rd gear, and makes legal stops at each intersection. The only Ford truck that would have any real chance is one of the SVT Lightning models...

Of course your position ASSUMES that the Suby driver was in the wrong. More than likely, the Ford driver was being an asshat, and showing that by sheer size (his ***** extender) can block the entire road, and that makes him entitled to do whatever he damn well pleases. Seen too many large truck/SUV drivers with that attitude...

 

I haven't seen too many *******s driving big trucks starting crap, so I can't speak about that. What I do see is alot of people flicking off other people for no good reason, other than they're pissed off that they were overtaken. If this is what the Ford guy is pissed off about, then he's obviously the one wrong here. But oftentimes, I and others I know have been flicked off as we merely overtook other drivers. And that crap pisses me off more than anything, such that if I wouldn't get tossed into jail for retaliating, then those people would see me doing more of what the Ford guy did.

I have never seen anyone block the road for no reason. the suby driver must have done something to **** him off in the first place. And this wasnt a discussion of a race between a ford and an STi. However, I'm also not saying that the suby driver did flip off, or do something to the ford driver, it was only a speculation, however it seems most likely. Its one thing to block a lane with your big truck.suv, but its something else, and is usually provoked if you block the entire road and get out and run towards the other car

The other night I was driving on Fremont BLVD and a Ford truck drove passed me. Ford Cobra...Not sure if that would be able to keep up or whatnot, I'll have to do some research.

Truck drivers up north in Sonoma County drive like asshats. They figure since they are big, and your small they can cut you off, merge into you etc. Drives me and my wife fricken nuts!!!

Those that think ford trucks can't be fast obviously know very little about Powerstroke Diesels and how insanely easy it is to make them eat WRXs for breakfest; at least in a straight line.

Simple mods like a computer (similar to an AP) and larger turbo related piping and exhaust make them run in the 13s. Bash most Ford cars all you like, but if there's one thing they know how to make its big trucks.
