Car Broken in to

So my STI was broken in to an radar detector was taken out of our secure garage in mountain view.

They broke in the driver side window and glass is everywhere. Does anyone know how much it costs to replace this window?

I guess in mountain view you only submit this crap online so i dont even know if an officer is acctually going to come out and look at it. Should i start cleaning **** up or just wait in hopes it gets their attention.

Uhmm, My car also got broken into in Mountain View, They used a slim jim and tried to steal it.... Now my lights wont turn on when i open the doors... Can i fix this?

I'm guessing there are some kids going around messing with Subarus or any car they can get their hands onto... Times are hard, and people get stupid.

Anyways a recap of the story, about a week ago i went down to my car and noticed that the passenger side door was a jar. When i got into my car the steering wheel was turned all the way to the right (locked) and the box around the steering column is LOOSE. I know its really hard to steal an 06+ without the key (unless you are fluent in the computer side of how an engine works.)

This was right in my parking lot =X

So any suggestions how to fix the light inside the car?

This makes a lot more sense than the post you made over on iwsti.

I would try a junkyard or ebay for the glass (I just saw some recently on ebay)

What brand/model for the RD?

Knight, there is an 04' STI driver's side door at AHQ. Kevin will probably sell it to you for $100 to $200 which is much cheaper than replacing the window. Just remove the window and replace yours.. Voila done!

And, sorry to hear of this..
