Been there several times for service and haven't had any serious problems with them. Just talk to Justin, he'll always try and help you out.

^I believe they will through Enterprise. I've read a thread on here about a guy's experiences with them and Justin, and how they helped him out immensely. His car was also a bit modded and he was serviced under warranty. I'm still looking for proof that Capitol Subaru would help you under warranty even though your car is a bit modded.

They're cool about the mods but they could have 100% customer satisfaction if they really tried. The key principles of "How to deal witha customer", the fundamentals just seem to be lacking.

To clear other posts up, I post factual information. Not biased information.
All information is listed from personal first hand experience.

i bet they have 100% customer satisfaction. or at least 99.9% and you're the .1%.

Lauren you're information and opinion is EXTREMELY biased due to the fact that everyone knows your relationship with someone at the service department. Boast all you want, but believe me I'm the only one with guts that posts FACTS. There are PLENTY of unsatisfied customers, i've spoken to MANY OF THEM.

If you wish I can gather the FACTS like always and provide you with many other peoples personal experiences of unfullfilling customer service.

Open your eyes, just because I choose to practice freedom of speech does not make me .1%. It means that out of 100 unhappy clients I am 1 of those who choose to make the experience public, unlike 99 who chose to be passive aggressive.

I had a very good experience there getting my car worked on. I would recommend this service department to anyone who asked.

I'm very glad everything worked out for you, I hope that my next experience is glowing and I can write FACTS that state the contrary to my previous experience.

I don't believe this dealership knows all the facts about Subarus. My experience is with the sales people. Through Edmunds I asked for a quote on a 2008 Legacy 2.5i LIMITED. Now if the sales people knew their stuff, they would have told me what they had on their lot. Instead they asked me if I wanted Manual or Automatic. The Limited model only comes with an Auto. There is no Manual option or anything when buying the Limited model. Never once did they mention having any Limited's on their lot. But Diablo Subaru responded and told me that they have a Limited on their lot and gave me a very good quote. That's where my business went. I can't say I'll be using Capitol Subaru for their service or to buy another car.

Uh...if you hate the so much, why would you give them another chance? Earlier you said you prefer going to Santa Cruz. They are also a great dealership so why not just go there? I have no particular loyalty to Santa Cruz, Capital or Redwood City as I've had good experiences with all of them. You live in the Bay Area, take advantage of your options!

I went there last week to get my 60k service done. I spoke with both Justin (on the phone) and Lance (in person) and they were very polite and friendly. I can't say anything about their knowledge of subarus, but they got me a free rental for the day and Lance even stayed after they closed so I could pick up my car. I think that's a pretty good sign that they take care of their customers. At least these two do.
