canadian loterry
So I was comin home from work n got my. Mail on the way in. When I saw got a letter from canada. It had a check for 4880 dollars. It looked real. So I was like oh ****. N that it was only the firt payment of 195000. But I knew it was too good to be true. Looked it up online n found out it was a scam. But then again they use the name paramount (like paramount pictures lol) claims inc. It even had the same logo.

Yeah dont fall for these scams!! They tend to hit the elderly since they usually dont know better. If you ever get anything like this in the mail just ask yourself when was the last time you entered a Canadian lottery, let alone were in Canada??

I know before, the scam was that you have to cash the check and send in a certain amount of money to cover the taxes and fees and then you get the rest of your "lottery" winnings. What happens is that you deposit/cash the lottery check (which is a real check but is not from an existing bank), you take whatever amount of money the "lotto" place is asking for and keep the rest of the check. Now you've sent in the money required to cover fees/taxes which is your own actual money. As you wait for the check to clear, it never does and now your left responsible for the funds. Not a good time after that...
