Can someone ID these struts?

So, I know they aren't stock because I hear the stock WRX struts are black. I've heard they might be STi struts. The springs are black though. Anyone know for sure? They came on my car.

I picked up a set of S-Tech's that had KYB struts on them.

Part numbers for the struts:

Right Front strut - 20310FE320
Left Front strut - 20310FE330
Right Rear strut - 20360FE020
Left Rear strut - 20360FE030

From what I found they were KYB (STI?) struts from the GGB STI Wagon

Any chance you can get a closer look for part numbers?

Those are (from what I can see in the picture) STi struts. Probably bought at a dealer. They don't appear to be the inverted versions and you said the springs are black so that makes sense. Inverted versions came with pink springs.

That's my two centavos.

Thanks guys. I can't see any part numbers on them, but its kind of hard to get a clear view of them, but I'm pretty sure you're right.

They look exactly like the OEM ones I had on my 04 STi.

Party time!

You have an 02 wrx sedan.
Those are most likely USDM 04 sti struts and springs. They MIGHT be different springs but it is not likely.

The 04 sti struts are the only year which bolt right in to an 02 wrx with no issues on all 4 corners. Most bugeye owners buy these from 04 sti owners who are getting rid of them, usually with springs.

Partially right. Spec C springs are black.

But still, I'd say you're probably right. STi take offs.

Just clean them. There should be a stamp in the metal that tells you what they are.

Don't look like AGX's to me though.

These are the special sti adjustable struts, they have 4 clicks of adjustment I believe. Very rare. You should be able to find more on iwsti.com about them. Haven't seen any advertised in a couple of years.

and no the stock sti strut is not pink (possible it was only in 04) but definitely not after that, this did not come from the dealer on US cars, believe these originated from the spec c.

Spec C RA struts... (with pink springs) Mine had black springs. 4 way adjustable

Can't see in the picture in the first thread but there would be an adjustment **** on the bottom.

KYB... adjustment ***** on top.

USDM STI struts were RED which I believe the original post picture is... just dirty. The pink is pretty damn pink.

Basically...

like I said before... clean them. You'll see what they are right on the body of the strut.

No adjustment on the bottom... NOT the 4 way adjustable RA struts. No adjustment on top. NOT KYB. Not inverted... NOT spec C. You can pull the boot up and look... it's not hard to see the difference between all of the struts.

I still think they're regular old STI take offs.
