Question Can someone dismount my tires for me??

Ok as some of you may have seen in my other thread all 4 of my tires got slashed on 4th of July overnight. Well I brought my wheels/tires to Americas tire co. to get dismounted (THEY HAVE DONE THIS FREE OF CHARGE IN THE PAST) and they want like 8bux per tire and 2.50 per tire for disposal. So I was like WTF, you guys did it free last time no hassle. I'm waiting to get my insurance $$ for a new set of tires but in the meantime I want my slashed ones dismounted from my SDR's. Is there anyone who has the tools or can get this done for me, I really don't have the money to pay Americas tire co. to do it =\

I can, but I can't dispose of the tires. I'm on shop at school tonight, and have access to a Hunter TC-325 and TC-3250 Tire changer stations. I'm certified on both. As long as you can take the old tires with you, we can do it tonight. You will have to come to Fremont, Sequoia Intsitute to be exact.

Appearantly, a knife seems to go through tires pretty well. That's what I'd try. TIme consuming, yes. A bit tiring (haha no pun intended), yes. Free!

I should add, I leave for school in about a half hour (damn hour long commute!), if tonight won't work for you, I won't be able to do this untill Friday. PM me ASAP so we can hammer this out. Hope I can help!

Hey anytime. I may not be that useful in the tech forums, nor do I own a Subaru, but I'm always down to wrench on something. What good is knowing how to do something if you can't help people out? It's a shame about those tires though, they looked brand new.

Also, as a note - if anyone ever needs a spare hand, I'm always willing to help if your local to me. While I loke to get paid to work on cars, I realize not everyone can. That shouldn't mean you get raped by some other guy.

you may not have to...

some of them charge a $1 per tire disposal fee, even if you keep your old tires.

so if they automatically charge it, let them dispose of it...
