I hope you have that phone unlocked and on AT&T network because t mobi is crap! I have from friends with that service and they do get ****. HTC is not the best for phones that last, I hope it worksoht for you though.

that's funny you say that...

i have it on at&t and if i wanted to could run both at&t and tmobile at the same time (not that i would unless my phone made me money) because it has two sim card slots where you can run either two att numbers, two tmobile numbers, or an att/tmobile mix.

so far i am absolutely in love with this phone. Had it about 2 weeks now roughly and have no issues with it. And it can take a 16gb microsd card, which will be upgradable to a higher amount as they come out since the G1 software will be updated to "know" how to use the larger storage chips.

and i will switch to tmobile when i move down to southern california, tmobile dominates at&t down there.

my buddy who got the tilt when it first came out still has his and it is thrashed.

there is no doubt that HTC is responsible for some of the most badass phones out there.

here's some:

^^this will be the new google phone, or the "G2" running android.

yes, it can do turn by turn navigation

application called xGPS, which uses google maps and utilizes the built in gps. plus you can use a download manager and download a huge section of an area and still get directions in "offline" mode

plus, the new firmware 3.0 will come with it as well for the normal Maps application
"Coming "this summer," iPhone OS 3.0 will have over 100 new features, including some ones we've been asking for quite a while. "

sorry, but the iphone is still superior.

Yea the I phone is superior but its not about the phone.

Its all about the app store and your google phone just doesn't have that.

Whatever "software" they create for your phone can easily be duplicated in the app store.

I appreciate your enthusiasm though as I type this from my blackberry. Ha ha ha

If a forum says it, it must be true...

i find it funny that they are going to use google maps for it...
given that their terms of service clearly state this:

"In addition, the Service may not be used: (a) for or with real time route guidance (including without limitation, turn-by-turn route guidance and other routing that is enabled through the use of a sensor), or (b) for, or in connection with, any systems or functions for automatic or autonomous control of vehicle behavior."

the iphone is not superior, between two iphones all they wanted to do was freeze, lock you into a look and feel that they wanted you to have.

know what i just found out about the g1? not a big deal but shows how much less **** they are than apple, if you go in and play a song one of the option buttons is "set as ringtone" can't do that on an iphone without paying. just one tiny example of why the G1 is better. oh and physical/onboard keyboard in the next update.

actually the android market is so damn dense with applications. and guess what? being on the G1 it lets me download from the market no matter what my connection is.. edge, 3g, wifi.. my 1st gen iphone wouldn't let me download anything while on just edge i had to connect to wifi.

also the iphone will not download and install "non apple approved apps" unless you "jailbreak" your phone. while the G1... just browse to the site/url that has the "*.apk" file or "app" and click the link and "do you want to download and install this app? warning it is not from the android market it maybe harmful blah blah" it only warns you.. it doesn't stop/control/prevent you from doing what you want. Thanks Google for letting me be an individual.

G1 = Allies
iPhone = Axis.

who won WWII?
