Can I borrow your wheels?

I don't really care what kind they are, I'll only need them for a little while. I can pick them up from you tonight or tomorrow if you live nearby. I'm ordering new wheels from TireRack, but I can't do that until I sell my Rotas, and I can't sell my Rotas until I dismount the tires from them and I can't do that until I have other wheels/tires to put on my car. I'd only need to borrow the wheels for as long as it takes TireRack to send me the ones I order and for me to mount my tires on those. So, um...2 weeks? More? Less? I'm not really sure.

If you want some stockers off my car, drive up 9 to 35 and go on skyline to where I used to live, they're under the deck. You'd get a fun drive outta it. Your car would look sick with stockers off a 96 L hah. How's WYO?

Oh, BTW, i think tirerack ships out of Reno it took me 2-4 days IIRC.

I don't think your stockers will fit my car, otherwise I'd do that. Wyotech is swell, 5.5 weeks to go! How's AZ?

And yeah, my friend brought me some tires from Reno once to save me on shipping last time I ordered from TireRack. Too bad gas is so expensive now, shipping is waaaay less than a tank of gas.

WRX stocks fit on my car... They're 195.65.15 i think?! Arizona is sweet. We got a new M5 to work on in the shop! Ha...I wish. It's sweet out here though. Severe lack of I-Club out here though.

Kellie, you *DO* realize that my roomate works for a tire company, right? I hope you're planning on getting a ridiculously good deal.

Oh, and, DON'T TRUST KELLIE WITH YOUR WHEELS! SHE'LL GET THEM DIRTY!

That is all.

I'm just buying rims from TireRack and reusing my Azenis until they die. But when they die, I'll definitely hassle your roommate for tire connections. What exactly does he do, anyway? I need someone to mount and balance them for me for cheap because I don't trust myself not to scratch my new rims. I don't even trust my friend who worked for America's Tire for a year to do it. I want some sucker at Firestone to do it so I can hold them responsible for any scratches or dents or whatever.

And yeah, I'll probably get your wheels dirty, but I'll make them pretty before I return them!

Edit: oo...oo...where do you live? I got an offer from someone in Walnut Creek, but that's really far away.

I don't mind mounting regular tires, but low profile tires scare me.

Just use 2 tire bars, it might slightly scratch the inner barrel a little bit, but the tire covers it and the only people who see it are the people who'll dismount tires later. I wouldn't trust America's Tire Co. either, as I used to work there and I've seen plenty of wheels go out with more scratches than what they went in with.

Gas isn't too expensive, right now it's $2.79 for premium down here in Pomona

Yeah, I've seen it done, but I've never done it myself. I've got the wheel situation covered though...woohoo! My car is going to look so pretty with new SSR's.
