Can Borla Hush go Bad?

Have about 40k on borla hush, no cats my sti use to sound like half as loud. Now its pretty damn loud. Could my "hush" have blown out? Anyone heard of this?

you might want to stop by a muffler shop and make sure your husher is properly torqued down, they have been known to come loose after 30k miles

haha, well I was thinking more like whatever **** they have in the muffler that keeps it quiet is blown out. Because mine is deafening loud, and it use to be fairly quiet unless under a lot of throttle.

I'd get under your car and look for leaks, and like said already make sure its all torqued down. I doubt something in your muffler broke, but maybe something happened to your cat in the DP? Although with the hush not sure how much of a difference that would really make.
