My wife would like to give her son her used s5 but we do not know how to unlock it so that it can be used with a different carrier ,does anyone know how to do this or a place that can do it?We went online and found some sites that charge but a bit nervous with out any actual real reviews.Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Your Carrier may be able to do the service for you now based on how long you have had the phone and if it qualifies to be unlocked.

Thank you will try that, the contract date is supposed to end in Sept but we are going to a different carrier that will pay the early termination fee So hoping it can be done through them.

 

I use a little place near Tanforan mall in South San Francisco

It's opposite the big AT&T store and unlocks phones, sell unlocked phones etc..

They charged me $80 to unlock an iphone

Just buy an unlock code from ebay.
