Can anyone recommend a shop...

Hi all.

My car is leaking oil and it is driving me crazy. Can someone recommend me a shop that can take a look and fix the problem. Looking for a place in or near Fremont. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It is near the front. I can't seem to see it, but the oil is all over the bottom part of the block and some even on the stock headers.

****, thats the same thing my tranny is doing.....

theres a slow drip, hopefully not from the hardline ( its an auto, it has a hardline-to-softline junction that goes to the radiator ) that drops right onto the header, and it smokes......

it was smoking at UCKK and D&B on the way to Hammy, thankfully only a few people saw it....

I'd say MPJ/Speed Element, They're located in Fremont as well. Not sure where you live, but they're right off of Grimmer.

that's what I was thinking.

I'd say try washing the front of your block off and then looking for the leak on a clean surface.

Make it easier for a shop to spot the problem as well.

Take it to Gruppe-S or MPJ.

Cool, cool. I'll probably try MPJ/Speed Element first. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

I just talked to a guy over the phone and he said that it is most-likely a broken head gasket or seal. I hope that I can get it fixed this weekend. Probably going to call MPJ/SpeedElement as soon as they open.

seriously man, who did your last oil change? Many times people tighten the Oil filter to tight without lubrication, this causes the oring to bind and krimp. You won't get e good seal and it will leak oil all over the place. Look for the easy stuff first, worst case is just that worst case. Head gasket, is a worst case.
