Can anyone reccomend a locksmith?
Hello i-Club, I'm a newb here and just want to have my car in standard working order...
since the previous owner of my car decided to swap for an '06 trunk and not change the lock cylinders, I'm stuck with having to keep using the interior trunk latch release.
questions go as follows,
Will i need a fresh lock cylinder to be coded to my key?
if not, does anyone know a good locksmith that can recode my current trunk cylinder to match my car keys for a reasonable price?
any help is appreciated, thank you.

Green Keys Locksmith. The owner and operator is Ben is a good friend of mine. He's honest and mobile. He can come to your work, home, parking lot, whatever. Look him up on yelp and give him a call. Your best bet in the bay.

You can rekey your lock cylinder thats on the trunk right now. If your willing to travel to san jose, Theres a place near valley fair mall that can rekey the cylinder in house but they need a day with the cylinder. I've had my trunk rekeyed as when i had my car in the body shop they some how lost my cylidner. Let me know if you cant find a place closer
