so i was just sent this email by my friend the are reprinting the lder CA license plates through dmv the only bummer is its $50 up front and it may take a couple years... anyway you can put it on any year/ make car.. here is the website

you can get the yellow back with the black letters

black backround/ yellow letters
blue backround/ yellow letters

you can get custom plates or just a regular number plate.

Definitely doing this for a few classic cars that my dad owns. I have a feeling that it won't take long to gather the 7,500 signatures. The classic car mechanic that I visited yesterday didn't even know about it and man, was he excited.
