Question Buying a WRX... best dealerships/prices in Bay Area?

I'm in the process of shopping for a new WRX. Anyone have any advice of what dealerships are offering the best deals? Any ideas of a target price I should be aiming for? I'd bet WRX's are selling just above invoive these days considering the STI and the MY04's are just around the corner.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

subaru of santa cruz. No hassle purchasing. Best buying experiance I have had in a long time.

Stay away from Stevens creek Subaru. A kids car was stolen from them while there for service, they have terrible service, they will attempt to rip you off while buying the car. Just stay away....

Yeah... I've heard some bad things about Stevens "Creep" Subaru. Anyone heard anything about Carlsen?

Green Valley Subaru in Fairfield has AWESOME pricing on new cars, but a less-than-stellar service dept. I got my RS below invoice back when it was the coolest thing that the combo Ford/Suzuki/Mazda/Subaru dealer ever got in.

Of the ones that have been mentioned I would just pick the one closest to you.

Nice! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction... which seems to be nearly anywhere but Stevens Creek!

I guess I'll shoot for invoice as far as a puchase price goes... Invoice is about 22,500 or so, right?

Looking forward to driving home a new WR Blue 5 speed Sedan... been saving up for this thing for ages!!

Green Valley has at least 3 WRXs right now with prices on the windshield ranging from $21495 to $21995, plus about 6 more for $22,500-$23,500. The cheapest one is even a yellow wagon!

Anyone has experience with Albany Subaru (just north of Berkeley)? Or any other dealers in the SF or East Bay Area? Thanks a lot.

Someone on this board bought her WRX at Albany and she said they were pretty decent. Hmm....Ron Price is good too. The guy who previously owned my 2.5RS bought his car there and always had his car serviced at Ron Price. They're in South SF.
