Am I the only one here that doesn't really like any late model Ferraris? Seriously, that pic does nothing for me. I've been in a couple of Modenas, and other than their engine note, they just flat out don't get me going.

I just noticed some f40s and 80's models in the back ground, so those get me going. evrything else... blehhh

Your not the only one. Classic Ferrari design is exactly that. Classic.

I have great respect for the design and execution the Ferrari Engineers put into each of their cars. The attention to detail is extraoridinary. Seeing these cars first hand gives me goose bumps.

After working with Mechanical Engineers for the last 13 years, I have a lot of respect for design and engineering work.

Plus Ferraris have the most beautiful shapes of all cars brought out to market IMHO.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I have nothing but repect for them, they just don't "get me going." You know that gut feeling? Maybe it's the fact that my family is english, but I really only get that felling, in terms of modern cars, from Aston Martins, TVRs and Nobles, oh and the Ford GT and 1st gen Viper GTSs. Old ferraries though, are the things that wet dreams are made of.

I hear ya. My dad was born in England, so when I was growing up I heard a lot about Jaguar Type-E's and Aston Martins and British Racing Green paint schemes.

And yes, Old Ferraris give me a chub!!!

Have you ever seen Victory by Design on Speed? They have an episode that is dedicated to the history of Ferrari. I had to turn up the volume real loud and I could do nothing but smile and get goose bumps up and down my arms from hearing the V-12 motors roar on that show.

Ferrari > all

No, me for sure.. One major thing wrong with the Modena - no grille with the horsie!! How can it be a Ferrari without the egg-crate grille and horsie! It's an awesome car, it's just as exciting to me as a Fiero as far as looks. Though last time at the track the guy next to us had a 360 road car and the race prepped carbon fibre jobby, those were nice. I do enjoy them from as late as say '95 though, as a charcoal grey 550M or a silver 456GT will cause me to stand gape-mouthed and drool for a while. My boss in England when I lived there had a '98 (R-reg) F355 F1 and it was a blast, but not my style.. 8500rpm shifts from behind your head - wow, goosebumps.

My favourite Ferraris:

288 GTO
330 GTC
F40
And pretty much anything classic IE California Spyder..

Neat tho.
