I know I have heard of some sites that sell built, most or fully assembled Subaru EJ motors. Anyone have some leads on some of these websites? Its coming time for some work to be done and I would like to check out my options before I jump into one thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys

Check IWSTI. Lots of STI owners are happy with rallyspec engines. But I chose a local builder/tuner. I think it's a better way (local shop) if you're not installing and tuning engine yourself.

Even working for Scammy I've seen long builds turn over in less than a month......

Cool story Walter...

To to op choose someone local that's within your time limit for a build, not everything goes as planned though so sometime bs comes up and your car might not be done in time. You know the drill call the local shops and get some prices, be involved in the cars build and ask lots of questions.

Good luck

no thanks..
We were definately on the slow side with the old staff, but since restructuring, our turnaround time on builds has reduced significantly. Generally we get them done within 2 weeks and even faster if its scheduled ahead of time. Recently we had a few builds turned around in 1 week because they were scheduled and we had a block ready to go for them. If you just want a built shortblock and you will be doing the work yourself, we have them ready to go.

Thanks
