BRZ/FRS Tuning now available at EQ!

Hey guys. We now officially support BRZ/FRS tuning using Ecutek software. I'm in the process of tuning a turbo BRZ for one of our partner shops in LA and will be tuning another basic setup BRZ soon as well. I'll make sure to post results here.

If anyone is interested in tuning or install/maintenance work, give us a call.

Thanks

Great to hear Ed! When I pick up a used BRZ in about a decade I'll know who to call

I haven't tried that yet... I doubt the stock valve train will go that high and I don't think it'll carry much power up there anyway.

Who is your tuning partner in So Cal?

My race car FRS is waiting for the supercharger to ship and its coming with the vortech pre-programed ecu. We only went this route if getting a tune was not within our time frame. So if we do have time for a tune, please let us know where we can bring it?

It's not a tuning partner, but rather a shop that we tune cars for. They develop and sell products mostly and they developed a turbo kit for their BRZ that was displayed at SEMA. They're called Boombop.

We can definitely tune your car for you, so give us a call and we can hash out the details.

Thanks

How does the stock map look? I ask because I have a friend who recently picked up an FRS, and if the stock map is anything like the infamous '07 STi, may recommend him getting tuned.

n/a tune is totally less finicky than a turbo tune.

The stock map certainly isn't dangerous like the 07+ STI maps, but it does run very rich on the top end and a bit of power can be picked up.

About 150whp on the old Mustang dyno calibration and about 175whp on the new Dynocom calibration.

Thanks
