Upgrade your HIDs to the PIAA Cobalt 6600K. Or maybe retrofit a projector inside the stock housing. http://illusion-lighting.com/

4300k IS in fact brighter. The higher the temp in K, the more blue-purple it will turn. It looks cool and nice from the outside, but from the drivers point of view, it's losing it's light output.

I went ahead and got myself some PIAA Plasma Yellow bulbs for my H3 fogs on my STi. It's a good balance of light and I can actually see in the rain with my HIDs and Fogs on.

I would like to install driving light in the place where the Sti fogs fit.
I thing this is the best option. A couple 150W driving lights will do the trick.

Now if I take spins on 580 with freaking 150W driving lights at rush hour you are correct. But when I am driving in the pitch dark back roads with no car for miles this is where it makes sense.

Cheers
