Had to drive through it, took me 30+ mins to get from the Bernal exit to the Stoneridge exit (that's one exit). Multiple helicopters, countless CHP... 580 ramps are shut down, and all north bound 680 lanes except for one are shut down, possibly all lanes now.

A tanker leaving the treatment plant off Stoneridge overturned and spilled MASSIVE amounts of LETHAL cholrine, the same stuff that was used to gas soldiers in WWI. They said to keep all your windows CLOSED and try not to be in that area!! The amount of vapor is undetermined as many barrels were lost from the accident.


About a half mile away, another big rig slammed into another big rig on 580 getting into livermore from pleasanton... lanes are shut down.


So if you can come in late to work, DO IT!

my commute sucked too.

I left 45 minutes early today than I did yesterday for work and got here 15 minutes later...WTF!!!

Nothing crazy that I could see except a motorcycle that looked like someone cut off. Whole front was jacked up. Rider was standing there with CHP..no car to be seen.

Probably just something on 17.

Sucks..because of the fishhook and all the construction anything that happens basically as far as 280/85, etc can greatly effect my commute all the way back on the 1 in watsonville.

Yeah that basically sucked thismorning.

 

My fiance got stuck in that this morning. Took her 2 hours to get from Tracy to Pleasanton. People asked me if I got caught in it, but I take the back road, Corral Hollow/Tesla Rd into Livermore to save myself some headaches. Lucky for me!!!!
