Brake pad alternatives for Axxis Ultimates?
I recently bought 4 brand new rotors and decided to opt for new pads F&R instead of tossing my old ones back on.
Been using Axxis Ultimates for the past few years with zero problems but I found out today they're no longer sold in the US.
What else would be a comparable pad to these without breaking the bank?
(Using these with 02 wrx brakes btw)

What calipers you have? I might be able to hook you up with some pad. I have 3 sets of pads in my tool box... well... some fronts and some rears I think. LOL!
For a cheap cold bite (AutoX) it's hard to beat Porterfield RS4...for more intensive track work it's best to switch to their R4, works really well when very hot. I combine with DBA5000 rotors and it works really well

I had Cobb pads a long time ago and liked them, thought they might have been rebranded RS4's?

I think I have HP+, EBC and Endless.
I'm running stoptech right now and I like em.
R4-S. It's the "street" version of the R4 pad. Great compromise pad as they bite nicely, work well at lower temps and rain, and can even work for a track day.
R4 is a track-only compound that is awesome but will murderate your rotors and should not be used on the street.

Same deal with my old MR2 Spyder, I did the EQ track day in '09 on R4-S's and using only pump 87 on street tires. Had no problem getting slowed down a lot out there by much "faster cars" so maybe that was the issue but had ZERO brake issues all day and I was running that little thing pretty hard. Course that is a 2400 and then a 2100lb car, so different physics I guess.
I have run my old '03 WRX Sedan at T-Hill and Sears on R4-S and again never had any issues with brake fade.
My current '02 sedan cannot stop to save it's own life but no idea what pads are on that car or what the real issue is.

in my frs i cooked my carbotech xp12's on autoclub speedway infield course. I wouldn't trust hybrid pads on tracks, unless you're completely new.
