my grandmother used to give my brother and me those for christmas when we were in middle school (who gives a middle school kid $50 to Macy's?) and we'd sell them to our mom :banana: I got $35 to starbucks this year and I'm keepin it all

my uncle used to give us $100 gift cards to jc pennys ahahhahaah i'd go buy something for 3 dollars and pocket the change they'd give you from it.

 

well when I was in middle school was right when higher end stores like Macy's (higher end than target that is) had just started to do the electronic gift cards so that didn't work

 

I hate friggin' gift cards. They are the most thoughtless gift b/c it ties you down to buy something at one store and usually never something you really want. At least in the state of CA they can't expire but at the same time, shouldn't they accumulate interest if you don't use them?

Cash is so much better b/c you can use it anywhere, even at your local corner crack dealer!
