Since Subaru updates the Impreza model each 2 years, if we just boycott the MY08 Impreza, they'll lose millions and will be forced to make a better looking MY09 Impreza!

its not that bad :/ good luck with a boycott, there are two many 90s honda hatch drivers that are going to be into the new hatch, its just going to draw in a new crowd.

 

Good luck, I don't think its half bad, and those that do will have it grow on them. Also, its about the performance not the looks for me personally, and I am sure many others share the same outlook. I like it.

It has it's issues but overall it's not as bad as everyone is making it out to be.
I had my doubts about the 06 until I saw it in person.

There is something to be said about seeing something in 3-D vice 2-D

 

i thought the 06 was super ugly, then when i saw it in person, it wasnt so bad. i think the 08 sedan at least, looks fine and ill get used to it. As for the rear of the sedan, its still really ugly to me, whats with the cheap chrome piece ontop of the license plate??!

 

Yeah I'm not feeling the hatchback at all! It reminds me of a mazda way too much.

 

If we could getthe hatch in STI trim I'd be all over that....

We will. In fact, the STI is only going to offered in hatch form (as of now).

I'll be hoping to pick up an '09 so I can save some monies and so Subaru can work out the kinks.

i like the the 5 doors version (well i've been like any wagon and hatch type). bought outback wagon and corona wagon. 5 doors yaaay!!

i guess asian market (GC8, GDB, etc...do not like the bug eye) and american market (really love bug eye) is different, what can u say. each person has its own taste.

i disagree with the boycot 08.

 

haha i agree, its not THAT bad, but i think they could have done much better. did none of the guys at Subaru think "wow that looks like a mazda3"? The 06-07 wrx's seemed to arrive and become yesterday's news pretty fast. Hopefully this 08-09 will be the same :P
