Funny that walmart sells gun ammo, but only sells edited music CDs. e.g. no parental advisory sticker.

good choice on the 23. I was looking at one myself when I was mobilized in Texas (Glock 23C, they had a 25% off for servicemembers), but decided against it when I started modding the car (only so much money ). I REALLY like the .40SW. IMO, it's the perfect round for a hand gun. Yes, I've fired 9mm, .45 ACP, .50, .44 mag, .357 mag, and 10mm, and to me, the .40 is the best for a hand gun. But then, I've also fired an M60 (7.62mm FMJ) and love that thing (the M249 is nice but lacks the OOMPH of the M60), so maybe it's just me.
ahh well... guess I can NOT own a handgun and just play with the M9, M16, M203, M249, and Mark 19 (40mm automatic grenade launcher) that I have at my unit twice a year during weapons qualifications .

AP bullets have a black tip.
Those are tracer/spotting rounds; when the bullet hits the target, it flashes.
So, if he's in PRK, he's obviously linked those pics, as those rounds are illegal to own.

I almost bought a Springfield XD40 tactical model with the 5 inch barrel but decided against it. I heard they shoot nice but, Glocks just have too good of rep to pass up. I got a great deal on it. Paid $487 before tax.
Anyone have any experiece in changing the barrels in Glocks? I heard that all it takes is a barrel and mag change and I can go to 9mm or .357sig as well. It would be kind of nice to be able to shoot 9mm since it's a whole lot more inexpensive.

the mags are even labelled ".40/.357."
now, going to 9mm is another issue. one is the magazine itself. a 9mm has a smaller case.
another is recoil spring. the 9mm may need a less powerful spring. you may have problems with the slide going back.
another is the extractor. if the extractor cannot grab the base of the 9mm shell, you will have a lot of FAILURE TO EJECTS (FTE). and this can lead to other problems, like feeding the next round, etc.
in fact, SIG does not recommend a simple barrel change on the 229 that is originally .40 or .357sig...

The Glocks and Walthers are convertable to .357 Sig with I think just a simple barrell swap.
One company that does this is Bar-Sto.
I want a 10mm next, added knock-down power, plus a conversion to .357 sig for my Walther .40.

It's all about the HK USP .45...
I'm looking at getting a Kimber Tactical Ultra II for concealed carry though. Although I don't know much about them I heard they're damn good. Anyone have any reviews?
