Borrow a BOV for a few hours?

So I'm thinking of getting a BOV for my '04 STi. I've read that you don't really *need* one and that running one that vents to atmosphere causes your motor to run rich when you shift... But I'm curious if I'll notice the difference. So I'm hoping someone could let me borrow their BOV for a few hours (buying one, then trying to return it doesn't sound like fun), you can hang on to something of mine while I have your BOV, and no you it won't be my credit card :-)

If anyone is willing I'd love to hear from you... PM, AIM, whatever.

yea you will run a bit rich. assuming your catless, you will once in awhile get a popping sound in the back from the muffler, and if you're reving high such as driving hard on twisties, u might sometimes be spitting flames from the back. i spat out some blue flames with my cobb stg 2 catless wrx, greddy evo catback, and hks bov~ people usually get a bov cause they like the sound~ imo the only one i would get (and the one im using) is the sard r2d2 = imo sounds very clean and pretty loud at 0 psi. bascially u wont really feel any difference besides that pop in your canister~

You wont be spittin flames unless you are catless, and even then, the BOV wont be the determining factor.

Dont waste your money on a BOV, you'll just be hurting the car's performance (LAG).
