this the same govt that got its *** handed to it by bill gates and the same govt that said a chinese man wen ho lee was a "spy" who was trying to sell secrets to china. of course if hes a asian man he has to be a spy, i guess. whatever happened there? they said he could face life in jail, well eventually he pleaded guilty to "improperly handling documents" and was released after time served. the fed govt makes me sick
That was a joke, right? Jealous media trying to keep a "strong black man down"...

"Burris' notable clients have included Rodney King, Tupac Shakur, D'Wayne Wiggins, Gary Payton, Keyshawn Johnson, actor Delroy Lindo and many public officials and employees. Some of his most emotional and tragic criminal defense cases involved the youngest person ever tried in a criminal prosecution in the United States, a female college freshman accused of "neonaticide" and the "cocaine mom" accused of murder for letting her newborn twins die while she binged on cocaine."

Other than the tupac, I didn't know these other people. I remember he was a legal analyst for KTVU during OJ Simpson trial. Also, I remember him defending a wheelchair bound lady who was trying to sue Clint Eastwood. She felt he didn't have enough wheelchair ramps in his Carmel estate. I laughed when I heard about it.

i don't know why the government spent 4 years just to nail this guy.. don't they have other issues in our society that is more important then a baseball player who took steroids?

yeah really, but he disrespected the court and if we let him get away, then everyone would have a different image of the judicial system, i dont know just what i can think of at the moment.

but yeah seems like a waste of $ to me

i was talking within that 3 years, why even bother with the case.. its only a freaking baseball player taking steroids, and cheating.. let the MLB handle it.

but now he should face the punishment he deserves for lying in federal court.

Ecko is putting an * on the ball and giving it to the hall.

Didn't they ask bonds if he took STEROIDS? In saying he did not he wasn't lying...he took HGH.

From what I've read the case is pretty weak.

it's gonna go two ways....he walks and baseball makes an example out of him and black ***** him...alla the black socks. Or....he walks and plays for the angels next year..haaa.

I don't see him doing any time at all. This is just to proove a point.
