BMW is the suckzer ! (should have bought a Suby)
I need to rant... im sorry....
So me and the wife go down on sunday and purchase a 2009 BMW 335i sedan. By the time the paperwork and all the negotiating gets done... its kinda late, so they tell us to come back monday (today) and they'll have the car washed, waxed, ready to go. No biggy, we have 3 cars already so its not a big deal. So... i pick up the wife and we get to BMW today at 630pm. Salesman ( REALLY REALLY NICE GUY) shows the wifey how to work everything , Navi , the i drive system.. just basically goes through the car for her. Coo... thanks alot ... lets go home ! Leave the lot at 7pm..get home to Pacifica at about 720..drop off the Acura and we take the new car to get food since its late.
So sitting in the drive through at In N Out Daly City, the screen starts beeping crazy... CAR IS OVERHEATING... not much I can do in a drive through.... a few seconds later we grab the food i go to pull out of the drive through and because the car is overheating... the computer wont allow the car to accel.... so... now im IDLING out of the drive through.. get it into a parking spot, turn it off. Well... thats not good enough...check engine light is on... car running like ****.... call BMW .... they advice to tow it in ! So... an hour old car... we wait 50 minutes for a toy truck to take the hour old car back to the BMW dealership.... ive waited for a toy truck just as long as ive owned this car. BMW is on my sht list.
End rant.
CN-one hour old 2009 335i dead in the water 1 hour after driven off the lot !
Edit: i spotted a black 05 wrx with purple bbs rims as well as a black 05 wrx wagon while i was sitting waiting for a tow ! nice RUNNING cars !

Yea Homer, trust me im already looking into it. The car WAS NOT MY CHOICE , wifey's car, she makes the bread in the family so she got the car she wanted. But yea ... im looking at the lemon law as we speak.

Lol, well if it makes you feel any better my friend's 335i coupe did the same thing. Except his car left him stranded on the Bay Bridge during rush hour instead of an In n Out drive thru. I guess you were lucky.

That sucks. I have to hear my co-worker every day complain about her 2006 BMW 3 series. It's just about in the shop every month, and trying to resolve the issues with BMW Corp. I hope you resolve your problem before it escalates.

I know your friend... his name is Mark isnt it ! The wife coworkers 335 died on the bay bridge as well
