I actually want to get rid of the spoiler, but it sucks even more without it. I was leaning more on the black since I had it that way when I had my 2003 Subaru.

I test drove the Si before buying the Subaru and loved the way it handeled out of the show room. it did not need any work. so how do you guys like it and what are you planning to doing to the suspension?

I know Aaron loves it. I know it handles great the way it is, he's taken out plenty of modified cars in autox, maybe just a sticker set of tires. I would really like to see Aaron go forced, but we'll see what he ends up doing with it.

i saw an article in one of the magazines about NA vs Forced and I honestly like the idea of NA. It is no wonder there is more following for the hondas than subarus or any other. i love my subaru, but still amazed with the abilities of the hondas. So when is the next Aaron going to an AutoX? There is one in Oakland on the 24th I think. I love to be there and take some action pictures.

The EX actually have a lip wing that's tastier, but they just had to put a big wing on the Si. The handling is right there. It's pretty bumpy the way it is so lowering it may require better absorbing shocks. The summer Michelins may need help so a set of Falkens may be all it needs. I'll run with the Michelin at the Sacto region autox and see how it goes. Going up agains the Mini Cooper S is not going to be easy.

I think there's an autox in marina on the 24th with a school on the 23rd or something like that.
Might be kinda fun.
As far as that car, for around 20k, that is one great piece of machinery. I only wish it had a little bit more power, and that you didn't have to whind it up to 5k for the power to come alive...but hey...it's a honda, what do I expect...for it to have torque?

I am not sure how good the accelaration is on the S, but I think it's pretty close unless it's rolling from below 5K. It's getting out of the slow corners that will kill us. The Sacto auto x starts in mid-March. I may not be at the first one, but I'll be at the May events for Shriners Hospital.
Apparently, Hondata has a program that give you 30 HP increase from 4,800 RPM on instead of going from 6,000 RPM. The problem is you have to either have a race header or intake. We'll be out of GS class and on to SM. There's no way we can compete there with no other work done.
