i have a GFB BOV and i have it set up for full atmospheric and it's never once backfired, it never pops or coughs when i let off the gas, and there is no hesitation between shifts......there are a lot of other BOV's that people run into problems with....but i think the Go Fast Bits BOV is fine to run 100% atmospheric. later, riggs

Well, the stock BOV vents 100% of the air it releases back into the intake tract. Most aftermarket BOVs vent 100% of the air they release to the atmosphere rather that the intake. Hence the pssshhhhh sound when you let off. Some are fifty-fifty which you can probably figure out by yourself. And the stock BOV won't be a limiting factor until you get up near 400WHP, so good luck with that.

How do you set your BOV to run at 100% atmospheric? Is the GFB BOV adjustable or something or do you have to order it a certain way? Also, so if i set the BOV to 100% atmospheric i should be ok with a stock engine, meaning no problems and just a louder noise?
Oh yea, and how much do they cost?
thanks

oh sorry i took so long!!
apparently there are some people who think you won't have any problems if you use a GFB BOV set to 100% atmosphere. and i think you can change them from atmosphere to internal. but you might want to check to be sure. they might actually have a website you could check. i heard about this thing called google.com that will find certain things on the internet for you if type it in. man, the things they're doing with technology these days.
