blood work/results?

Hey guys....I got some blood work done..mad test.

Just got a call from the office. They want me to come in....said something about an abnormal liver but they want me to come in.

Should I be worried. I'm all freaked about havin hep or hiv or something cause I was in the hospital all kinds in the 80's and I watched some damned program on TV that said there were a lot of cases in the 80's of messed up blood getting put in.

I mean would they tell you on the phone if it was something like that?

if it was messed up blood from the 80's and you got Hep or the HIV then you would be dead or very sick without proper treatment otherwise by now. it's gotta be something else. maybe diabettes or something you shouldn't sweat until you know the facts.

I had that too, and they don't know why, but it's gone on for a few years and I don't have any troubles. My liver readings are consistently little high, out of normal range, but not by a lot. They finally decided it's just because I am a fat bastard, some fat around the liver causing abnormal readings.

Also I reinforce what Sisq said. If you had a serious problem you would probably have symptoms beyond just the stuff that showed on the blood work.

Do you drink a lot? A friend of mine got a similar call and the meeting was to tell the guy to lay off the bottle because his 28 year old liver looked more like 50... So it wasn't great news, but definitely not life threatening.

Good luck!

No - just addicted to all things i-Club.

I went to school in Norcal and visit the Bay as often as I go anywhere on the mainland.

I wouldn't get to worked up over it just yet. It may not be anything. I think you saw the MTV special about AIDS. I saw it too but if you noticed the people that had something knew about it very early on.
