haha yeah i have run across several places where those guys came in, asked a bunch of questions, and made a bunch of suggestions that were completely stupid..

Latest one was on an audit...

The audit calls for encryption for administrative access...

So they tell them to stop using pcanywhere and start using VNC....

wtf! haha i laughed and said you can use VNC but only if you push it thru a ssh tunnel... haha and since these were windwos boxes they opted with pcanywhere.. hahaha made me laugh..

thanks for the heads up, unfortunately they werent using a version that supported encryption.. (think it was tightVNC) and it should be ntoed that the crypto is in the resale ver not the free

wonder what pricing looks like..
