a bia of a install

ok so i spent the last 2 days after work finishin up my brembo big brake kit installs on the front and rear of my 05 wrx..and then finally got everything donetoday

wow what a pain in the freakin ***!!!

the brembo calipers come assembled from the factory so that makes it easy...but am i the only one that had a wonderful 2hours tryin to get stock brake lines off?!i had to end up usin 2 vice grips and a hammer on the last one cuz it seriously was not budging!! i started thursday after work, finished the brake lines friday night, but i got the rotors and calipers on thursday, and in retrospect i shoulda just cut the rear dust shields off because they too were bein little pirate hookers, they kept touching the rotor in spots...so i got mad and just started usin pliers and a hammer to bend them back, cutting them off woulda been the wiser choice.....i shoulda also had 2 8mm bolts on hand because my rotors had a hell of a time coming off.....then thursday night my oneman vaccum bleeder broke...i wasted $45 on this piece of crap from kragen!! bah so friday i bled the brakes with a friend pumpin away, i thought it was all good, and then get the car down and turn it on, NO BRAKE PRESSURE..wtf... so today i rebleed it again and now its good and now im happy i never have to deal with this install again

so far all you that want to do this, itll take time but in the end youll save a lot of money on the install so have all the stuff you need to get the job done, better yet, just pay a shop like gruppe-s to do it, the time to money ratio is worth it...or i just suck

ps- i went through 4.5 bottles of motul bleeding the brakes...i had a lot of air...BAH! i need ice cream to calm me down
