The KDs are loud, and that's coming from a friend with a Perrin catless turboback on his wagon...

Not bad at all. Jack-of-all-trades, master of none type tire.

Great work Bryan, looks great.

I don't think I have seen Shiv stand still for that long before, was Brett holding his legs?

Congrats on the one lap to Shiv and co as well.

I've had the KDs for a couple weeks now and they are definitely sticky. I'm coming off of S-03s, but they were corded so the fact that the KDs feel noticeably stickier isn't a surprise. Although my alignment isn't perfect, the KDs do make more noise than the SO-3s ever did. It doesn't bother me though.

gee, why is BF Goodrich so adamant at saying that KD's aren't "R-Compound tires", when they evolved from the legendary comp t/a R1, and they're noisy, bad in the rain, and wear out fast?

Because they aren't as sticky and they last much longer. Plus they have a DOT rating.

Bwahahahaha... traction A? That's very funny. Treadwear rating isn't so horrible though.

Decent max performance street tires have rating of AA. It actually refers to braking test results, not cornering grip. Still, seems quite strange to me.
