those spoke rims are scary. no lug nuts. they are literally held by the center caps that you are supposed to screw on and tighten with a hammer.

Sounds to me that LE should should probably pay more attention to clowns like the kind that would screw wheels on to their cars.

About the exact same thing almost happened to me a couple years ago on the 880 going through Oakland (surprise, surprise) a spinner flew off some 'dub' and shot sideways through 3 lanes of traffic right in front of my car. Seriously, that would have been like a 20 lb sawblade if it hit anything
