whats taking him so long to go home and get online. is he really coming home with his car on a flatbed while he holds his timeslips?

 

no..... and for that matter i dont race my car that often. Just seems like i got this rep since i raced zoeb one time on the freeway. Oh and i wanted to go from a stop but he was the one who did NOT want to.

Yea just got back. I was running on my wheels and not stock. I think next time i go i wil put the stock wheels on just because the tires have little tread and can spin the front a little off the line. Seemed like the s-03's gripped too much and i bogged a little. 60 ft's were in the 1.8's, 1.86 on the 12.8 run. I was just really really nervous being out on the track for the first time. Launches didnt seem that great compared to when im on the street. Also it was ****en hot. Temps were in the 100+ so that doesnt help at all. Had fun for my first time out though, hopefully ill get the times down to 12.6 or 12.7 my next time out. Ill scan the slip soon, also sry i didnt get the runs on video because my camera died while my friend started recording.

 

Oh and also i couldnt find a way to keep the exhaust manifold warm (gruppe-s v2). The only way to get it warm is driving under load with the egt's in the upper 700C. So just sitting in line with the car off then idling it for awhile didnt warm it up.

 

how much did you pay to run ? i might just have to go one of these days for sh*ts and giggles

for infineon it's 20 to run and 10 to watch. dunno about sac though.

 

It was $15 to run. I got there reallly early, like one of the first cars. They didnt open the gates till 4:30 and the first run wasn't till 5:45. I'm not sure if its always like this but that seemed pretty late..... Hopefully next time i go ill get more runs in and it won't be so hot.

haha i just went this time for fun and to see what the car could do. but i acually had a good time. My freind's car wasnt ready to week but should be within the next couple days. So we might go next week also, not sure if we are going to goto sac though since its so warm. Might give infineon a shot.
