Car Info: prius drivers crazy. ****ing ***wipes...
I think the 05 DCCD tq split was indeed 45/55 or 35/65 or something. Then it got dumbed down a bit in 06. Don't quote me on the exact figures, but the 05 diff wasn't that bad.

Car Info: 05 STi
I raced a 2004 350Z with exhaust from a roll in my unmodified STi back in the day and we were pretty much even. I got him once then he put me at a better speed for him the second time and he barely beat me to about 100. This is all on closed roads of course as I don't street race. From a dig the STi will smoke a 350. I am massively unimpressed with 350/370s. Now the GTR is a different story. I'd do horrible things for one of those.

Only one 350Z in auto-x placed in the top times this year at the nationals:

stis don't bother competing in a-stock, they'll get killed- they go straight to STU to play with the evos.
if you look closer the differences in raw times between a-stock and b-stock, it's not very far apart. Neither car is well suited to autocross in stock trim, a-stock is pretty much the s2000 vs corvette class and b stock is pretty much a one car class(rx-8s). No one is really modifying 350s to be competitive in autocross and that prolly says alot as to it's suitability as an autocross car-
as for circuit times.. Top gear test track:
1:27.5 - Nissan 370Z GT
1:30.1 - Subaru Impreza WRX STi (it was a GD I'm pretty sure?)
1:31.8 - Nissan 350Z
That's a pretty big margin, and would be a pretty good representation if it was the same stig driving each time, not sure which seaons either car was tested. Also the 370 is the UK ver, not sure if it differs significantly from US spec-
besides.. just the fact that the nissan's exhaust note sounds like a goat being ***-raped pretty much kills the whole debate right there
