Best Wings (Hot wings, Buffalo wings, etc) of the bay area?
Inspired by the pizza and rib threads, what is your fav place for wings?
I know a lot of people that think Wing Stop and Cluck-U have the best wings, but they are pretty mediocre if you ask me *shrugs*
I know this sounds weird, but the best wings Ive ever had, BY FAR, is served by the BJ's restaurant chain. If you've never been there, it's worth it just to travel to a BJ's just to get the wings!
They are broiled I think because they are different from all other wings Ive ever had, so they are almost like a crispy texture on the outside (not breaded, just the meat gets this nice crust on it), and super moist on the outside, then they put buffalo and ranch onto the wings in a fancy looking way which thus creates the best wings ever!
I know we have wing fans here, so lets hear about your fav wings!

It honestly is going to depend on what you like flavor wise. I do eat at Wing Stop, but after eating at the Buffalo Wild Wings for about the past half year I would rather go to Buffalo Wild Wings over Wing Stop.
If you do go to Buffalo Wild Wings get the Mango Habanero - Best Sauce on the menu. I also like the Asian Zing, Carribean Jerk & Hot BBQ, but the Mango Habanero is the best flavor on the menu.
I really like what is currently SmokeEaters (although they should have stuck with the Cluck U. name) as you don't feel like you are getting ripped off with the wings or tenders when you see the size of those things.
You could get the wings at Hooters, but honestly you are going there more for the scenery than for the food.

Daniel, i cant agree with you more. BJs is by far the best wings ive ever had. if you like the wings there, you gotta try the artichoke dip. no other place taste better than theirs.
i say we call for a BJs meet

Never been to WingStop before but there is one near my house so I might go there as soon as I figure out how to tighten my crank pulley by myself.
My fav so far is Cluck-U (Smoke Eaters) and this is because I really like them, and they do not make me feel like I am going to volcano-vom or have the "brown river of the back door" after.

)Seriously, those wings are just amazing! I agree that the artichoke dip is great too! My wife always gets it. BJ's is just pretty good overall, their mini pizzas are great, combined with wings and a nice tall glass of beer, it's so much win that you can't really add more win without ending the world.
Lets do it! BJ's in Fremont/Newark meet! Subies, great people, and epic wings FOR THE WIN!!!!

The best way is to take a flat head screw driver and put it into the flywheel which prevents the flywheel from moving, then tighten the pulley.

You are totally right and I have done it solo on my RS, but this is on my Justy which has a transverse engine and you get to the crank pulley by removing the RF wheel and popping out an access hole. I do not have the reach to hold the screw driver as well as be at the wheel well w/ the torque wrench so waiting for the wife to get home so she can hold the screw driver handle. Have to see what she says about some wings and BJs as well.

But seriously since I have never been to Wingstop this will be good for the thread. Ha!
