Best Subaru Service Center in Bay Area?
My car has a loose tube, around the turbo, which is slightly leaking oil and therefore causing some smoke under my engine bay. Since I have not modified the engine in any way, this is something which should be covered under warranty correct? I'm at 29.5K miles so I am still covered under the 36K warranty.
I've heard some pretty bad horror stories about service departments resolving issues which are warranty-related. My question is which Subaru service center should I bring my car into to have this issue resolved with the least frustration? I'm located in San Francisco so any service center in the Bay Area should be ok with me. I also go to school at Davis so service centers around that area should be ok too.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

I 2nd Carlsen for you guys who can't or too lazy to drive out to Santa Cruz. I can vouch for those guys. I had transmission work done under warranty and Alvin Ng took care of my car and answered my questions about what was going on.

All they are gonna do here is tighten up the clamp. 5 minutes with hand tools and you can do this one yourself without the hassle (your time, gas $$$, time off work, etc) of having to goto the dealer.....

Santa Cruz, hands down. While I was waiting for my oil to get changed and car serviced today they invited me to hang out and eat BBQ with them. They are rad people there!

Well I have to take my car in for the 30K service so I might as well see if they will tighten the clamps for me since I am a newbie when it comes to dealing with the engine. The area around the turbo is pretty cramped too. But anyways thanks for the suggestions. It seems that Carlsen seems like the place to go.

I would not suggest doing the work yourself if you still have warranty. If they have noticed that you tampered with it yourself, they could void your warranty.
I had this issue happen on my own WRX, 5 minutes with a socket and it was fixed (and has not re-curred). What happens is that the hoses on the turbo (namely, the turbo inlet hose) can loosen up over time, and result in small leaks there. If you have any oil blowby there at all (which is normal for a small amount on a turbo car), it will smoke when that oil "mist" hits the hot turbo.
